  • Habitat: open savannahs, scrublands and palm groves, however, due to their great adaptability, they live in a variety of ecosystems
  • Diet: semillas de plantas tanto silvestres como cultivadas (sorgo, maíz y arroz). También consume frutos y flores, así como insectos y sus larvas. Ocasionalmente pueden consumir carne de animales muertos
